'Subtlety' is not a word you would associate with Wayne Moore. Rather, 'simple' is more apt in this instance: he is a big boy, he hits the ball a long way. Simple, see?

Boom Boom got his nickname early on, smashing 24 on debut against Edgemead, which included many boundaries and not so many singles.

Wayne then went through bit of a girly stage when he thought about his batting too much and also stumbled across the forward defensive shot. After much ribbing for his teammates, we are happy to report that Boom Boom is now back to his old ways of 'smash now, worry about line and length later'.
