One of the remaining 'old toppies' in the Rollers side, 'Scooter' is the ultimate team man - be it building tables for fundraisers, driving out of his way to drop off a teammate or spending countless nights visiting a friend in hospital.
And he's not an altogether rubbish cricketer either - the reigning Player of the Year, Scooter is said to have invented the cut shot back in the early seventies, and that he is still involved in a legal wrangle over copyright issues surrounding the shot. Over the years he has added a few strokes to his arsenal (which now includes a brand new Black Widow bat), but he will always fall back on the cut shot in tough times.
Scooter is also known to turn his arm over with a few 'offies' when the situation demands it, and is one of the best gully fielders you will ever see. But be warned ... never call him for a quick single, let alone a two. He once ran a three against Scorpions ... and duly tore his hamstring!
